Job summary

SB Energy Corp. is seeking a Director of Electrical Engineering for Data Centers to lead design, standards, and construction across national data center campuses.

The role oversees LV, MV, and HV electrical design, drives efficiency, safety, and compliance, and mentors a team of engineers to ensure high quality project execution. The candidate will coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners, manage design reviews, and help deliver scalable data center infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred).
• 8–12+ years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in data centers or large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical power systems including distribution and backup power.
• Experience leading teams of engineers and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain electrical engineering design standards for quality, cost- effectiveness, and presentation.
• Lead design reviews and coordinate with stakeholders for approvals.
• Provide technical guidance on electrical systems including power distribution and grounding.
• Support RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and submittals with engineering input.
• Mentor and develop a team of electrical engineers to maintain high performance.
