Parexel is seeking a Vice President, Commercial Strategy to lead growth and market positioning on a remote basis. You will guide strategic opportunities, analyze markets, and drive bid pursuits across sales, operations, and technical functions.

You will mentor bid teams and collaborate with executives to shape Parexel's competitive strategy. The role emphasizes client relationships, industry trend monitoring, and transformational business outcomes, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in CRO with senior sales or operations exposure.
• Proven global cross-functional team leadership.
• Experience developing commercial messaging and bid content.
• Strong knowledge of CRO industry and biopharma market.
• Proficiency with Salesforce and proposal automation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in bid triage discussions to evaluate opportunities and align with objectives.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify high-value opportunities.
• Coach bid teams on RFIs/RFPs to ensure compelling messaging.
• Collaborate with sales, technical, and operations to shape strategy.
• Prepare bid teams for client presentations and strategic positioning.
• Extract lessons from wins and losses to improve outcomes.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments affecting strategy.
• Participate in client engagements to strengthen relationships.
• Represent Parexel at events to enhance visibility.
• Lead internal initiatives to improve bid pursuit effectiveness.
• Analyze wins/losses with Sales Ops and share insights.
• Develop training materials on commercial strategy and bid best practices.
