Job summary

SCA Pacific Case Management is seeking a Vocational Case Management Assistant/Intern to support return-to-work efforts for workers injured on the job. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, sociology, or Human Services and a valid Washington State Driver’s License with reliable transportation.

This role works under a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, learning to engage with workers, employers and medical providers to facilitate the return-to-work process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology or Human Services preferred; Washington State Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to engage with workers, employers and medical providers to facilitate return-to-work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare correspondence, reports and case documents.
• Monitor client treatments and follow up on routine calls.
• Schedule appointments and attend face-to-face meetings with claims parties.
