Qualifications

• Inpatient coding experience and current CCS certification are required.
• Five years of recent in-field inpatient coding and healthcare operations knowledge are expected.
• Willingness to use instructional technology and address AI use in coursework.

Responsibilities

• Develops an approved DeVry University syllabus aligned with campus templates.
• Organizes and updates all course materials.
• Utilizes online tools and course software for delivery and accessibility.
• Models clear oral and written communication to support learning.
• Publishes course objectives, dates, and grading weightings.
• Ensures exams match terminal objectives and provide timely feedback.
• Incorporates responsible AI practices and addresses AI in student work.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
