Job summary

Leybold USA INC is seeking a Virtual Sales Engineer to act as the primary liaison for customers across pre- and post-sales activities. You will manage a territory, re‑engage lapsed customers, and drive revenue while guiding prospects through the sales process.

You will collaborate with sales and technical teams, deliver quotes for service offerings, and showcase service products and benefits. Strong MS Office and CRM skills are essential, with Spanish a plus and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in technical sales, business development, or related field is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other technical field; business/marketing knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with vacuum equipment or technical product sales is a plus.
• Familiarity with CRM applications is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency in using MS Office suite.
• Strong customer-centric approach and ability to thrive in a team.
• Spanish fluency is an asset; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Act as principal liaison for customers in pre- and post-sale activities.
• Own designated territory, re-engage lapsed service customers, drive revenue.
• Guide customers through the sales process and provide timely information on offerings.
• Collaborate with outside sales to cover service needs across lines.
• Follow up on leads and provide quotes for the Service Business Line.
• Deliver overview of Service Products and demonstrate product benefits.
• Promote cross-selling of Leybold products, including field services and contracts.
• Document all interactions in the CRM system; maintain databases.
