Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a VIP Travel Consultant to manage travel for our premium corporate clients in the US. The role requires native GDS expertise (Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus) and 3+ years of corporate travel experience, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service and proactive traveler support.

You will coordinate domestic and international itineraries across air, rail, and hotel, ensuring policy compliance and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Native GDS expertise (Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus) and strong knowledge of travel GDS systems.
• 3+ years corporate travel experience including fares, ticketing, car, hotel, air, and rail.
• Excellent professional communication, both written and verbal; high attention to detail.
• Proactive, customer-focused with ability to resolve issues quickly and independently.

Responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for corporate clients (individuals and groups) in the US.
• Research travel options and anticipate traveler needs to upsell services.
• Book domestic and international itineraries across air, rail, and hotel; ensure policy compliance.
• Utilize GDS to issue tickets and manage bookings.
• Maintain security and integrity of traveler information and prevent fraudulent activity.
• Collaborate with team to coach, mentor, and raise service levels.
