First Advantage is seeking a Verification Specialist to handle inbound and outbound calls for references, education, credential and employment verification. The role demands high attention to detail and strong analytical skills to generate comprehensive reports for clients.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have at least two years of college or one year with BPO experience.
• Experience with inbound calls is recommended but not required.
• Excellent command of English and ability to conduct conversational interviews.

Responsibilities

• Manage Inbound and Outbound calls for references verifications.
• Obtain Verification and references information via phone, fax, mail, etc.
• Investigate and confirm reference credibility.
• Update reference contact information within database.
• Answer telephone and email inquiries from candidates and clients concerning the status of a background check.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Coordinate with other departments via phone and email regarding the status of the background check.
• Transferring calls to appropriate departments
• Update database and complete verification report.
• Setting up client orders
• Completing database check
• Work allocation duties
• Quality checks
