Job summary

BILL is hiring a Vendor Development Representative for the Supplier Network team in a remote-first setup with occasional in-person meetups in select offices. You will drive supplier conversions from checks/ACH to digital payments, manage records in Salesforce, and work toward defined volume and conversion targets, impacting monthly payment throughput.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of outbound sales or supplier outreach experience, strong communication skills, and comfort with CRM and dialer

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of outbound sales, supplier or vendor outreach, inside sales, or payment operations support in a B2B environment or equivalent.
• Demonstrated track record of working against volume and quality metrics (calls, conversions, documentation).
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM, data entry, record hygiene, and activity logging.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain payment concepts to non-technical contacts.
• Comfort navigating multiple tools including dialers, CRMs, and internal workflow tools.

Responsibilities

• Contact suppliers through outbound calls and email to validate payment acceptance and capture setup details.
• Educate suppliers on digital payment methods and guide transition from check/ACH to virtual card.
• Maintain Salesforce records for supplier interactions for downstream payment operations.
• Follow playbooks and scripts while handling objections and escalations.
• Meet or exceed monthly activity and conversion targets (calls, emails, total volume).
• Collaborate with operations, onboarding, retention, and product support teams for smooth handoffs.
