Job summary

BILL is seeking a Vendor Development Representative for its Supplier Network team. You will convert suppliers from check/ACH to virtual card payments, drive overall payment volume, and ensure successful setups through outbound calls and emails.

You will collaborate with operations and product support to ensure smooth handoffs, maintain accurate records, and meet monthly targets, shaping the supplier experience and industry-wide adoption of digital payments.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of outbound sales or supplier/vendor outreach experience in B2B.
• Track record of hitting volume and quality metrics (calls, conversions, documentation).
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM for data entry and activity logging.
• Strong verbal and written communication to explain payment concepts to non-technical contacts.
• Comfort using multiple tools (dialer, CRM, internal workflow tools) simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Contact suppliers via outbound calls and email to validate payment acceptance and capture setup details.
• Educate suppliers on digital payment benefits and guide their transition from checks/ACH to virtual cards.
• Maintain accurate Salesforce records for all supplier interactions.
• Use playbooks and scripts while handling objections and escalations.
• Meet or exceed monthly activity and conversion targets (calls, follow-ups, total payment volume).
• Partner with operations, onboarding, retention, and product support to ensure smooth handoffs.
• Surface friction points in onboarding and payment setup to inform stakeholders.
