Sourcepass is seeking a strategic vCIO to partner with a portfolio of clients, aligning technology strategy with business goals. You will lead multi-year roadmaps, assess technology environments, and translate complex concepts into actionable executive guidance.

The role emphasizes remote advisory with occasional travel, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on reducing risk, improving resilience, and maximizing technology value for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, business administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum eight years of progressive IT leadership, strategy, consulting, or advisory work.
• Experience in MSP/MSSP or technology consulting preferred.
• Broad knowledge across infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, and business continuity.
• Strong executive communication and financial acumen.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic technology guidance aligned with business objectives and long-term needs.
• Own development, delivery, and maintenance of Strategic Technology Assessments (STAs) for assigned accounts.
• Review STAs for quality, consistency, and actionable recommendations.
• Develop multi-year client technology roadmaps addressing infrastructure, cloud, security, and lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, security, resiliency, and efficiency.
• Maintain relationships with client executives and stakeholders through meetings and reviews.
• Translate technical concepts into clear business recommendations for executives.
• Identify risks and provide recommendations aligned with standards and compliance.
• Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and prioritization of investments.
• Provide guidance for continuity, disaster recovery, backup, and resiliency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignments with roadmaps.
• Serve as escalation resource for complex client technology needs.
• Identify strategic initiatives and service opportunities with measurable value.
