Job summary

IX Solutions is seeking a vCIO to lead technology strategy, roadmapping, and executive advisory for client organizations. You will translate business priorities into actionable technology direction, align governance and investments, and partner with senior stakeholders to drive modernization and risk management.

Reporting to the Director, Client Services, this full-time role requires 40 hours weekly, with standard business hours and occasional after-hours support.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in technology advisory, IT leadership, strategic account management, consulting, managed services, business technology planning, or a related role.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate executive technology conversations and develop practical roadmaps aligned to business objectives.
• Strong understanding of technology governance, modernization planning, security, productivity, enterprise applications, infrastructure, cloud, lifecycle management, and operational service needs.
• Experience converting assessments, discovery findings, business analysis inputs, operational issues, and stakeholder priorities into actionable planning direction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive, business, technical, project, and managed-services stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and advisory skills with the ability to identify options, risks, dependencies, trade-offs, timing considerations, and recommended actions.
• Business-aware, relationship-oriented, organized, and comfortable balancing strategic direction with practical delivery and operational realities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and common collaboration, documentation, presentation, project, and roadmap planning tools.

• Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships where IX Solutions has (or is developing) a deeper long-term partnership.
• Connect business priorities with technology planning, governance, and risk decisions.
• Prepare, judge, and communicate clearly to secure follow-through with client leadership.
• Facilitate early strategic conversations with new or developing client relationships.
• Translate client input into clear priorities, roadmap direction, ownership, and actions.
• Coordinate with Account Executives to keep roadmap direction aligned with account strategy.
