Job summary

NMS Camp Services in Prudhoe Bay is seeking a Remote Vac/Water Truck Driver to operate and load/unload potable water, deliver or pickup commodities, and support remote camp operations in arctic conditions. You will follow safety procedures, perform routine vehicle maintenance, and work with a team in a remote camp setting.

The position requires a valid CDL A/B with tank endorsement (N or X), a DOT medical card, and experience in heavy vehicle operations in cold environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A/B with tank endorsement N or X required.
• DOT medical card required or in process.
• Two years' experience operating large commercial vehicles in Arctic conditions preferred.
• Water/Wastewater certificates recommended.

Responsibilities

• Operate and load/unload tank as required or assist in loading/unloading.
• Record quantities loaded/unloaded using gauges/meters.
• Drive truck to customer premises and position at loading docks.
• Perform maintenance, fueling and basic repairs on vehicles.
• Attend daily safety toolbox meetings and conduct job risk assessments.
