Job summary

NMS seeks a Remote Vac/Water Truck Driver to operate a truck loading/unloading at potable water and wastewater fixtures, and to deliver or pickup various commodities within an assigned Alaska area.

This role requires a Class A or B CDL with tank endorsement N or X, DOT medical, and the ability to work in arctic conditions at remote camps; candidates must pass pre-employment testing and meet safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A/B CDL with tank endorsement N or X.
• Two years' experience operating large commercial vehicles in cold/arctic conditions.
• Must pass pre-employment checks including drug tests and medical assessments.

Responsibilities

• Empties or fills tank and assists in loading/unloading.
• Counts material, reads gauges, records quantities.
• Drives truck to customer premises and loads/unloads.
• Connects hoses and positions truck at loading docks/areas.
• Performs basic maintenance, fueling, and pump/motor upkeep.
