Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of professional nursing.
• Valid, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Military experience preferred.
• Specialized training in Medical Disability Evaluations or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical disability examinations and focused assessments.
• Review medical records and diagnostic results to evaluate health conditions.
• Render objective medical opinions based on examination findings and records.
• Manage workload and communicate with QA team and VA guidelines.
• Maintain patient data confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
