Loyal Source is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to perform Compensation & Pension examinations for Veterans applying for VA disability benefits. The role includes independent work, reviewing records, and writing medical opinions, with some charting from home possible.

Qualified candidates will hold an active NP license, have at least 1 year of NP experience, and comply with HIPAA and VA guidelines. Travel up to 10% may be required. Base salary plus monthly incentive is provided.

Qualifications

• NP license in the United States (unrestricted).
• At least 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience.
• Experience in medical disability exams or related field preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsabilités

• Conduct Comprehensive Medical Disability Examinations reviewing patient history and performing focused exams.
• Review and analyze medical records and diagnostic results.
• Render objective medical opinions on veteran health issues and work capacity.
• Maintain case management processes and communicate with QA team.
