Qualifications

Active Nurse Practitioner license in the United States and not barred from practice
Minimum 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience, preferably in disability evaluations
Basic Life Support certification (renewals)
Familiarity with military or veteran communities preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patient-centered approach

Responsibilities

Conduct Comprehensive Medical Disability Examinations and review medical history
Review and analyze medical records and diagnostic tests
Render objective medical opinions based on examinations and record reviews
Coordinate with QA team and other healthcare professionals
Document findings in VA-compliant reports and maintain confidentiality
