Job summary

The role serves as the primary contact for claimants, performing data entry, education, and follow-up to resolve issues. You will explain VA decisions, support the appeal process, and maintain strict confidentiality in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher preferred with six months of customer service experience.
• Professional oral/telephone communication skills.
• Superior organizational skills.
• High level of initiative.
• Excellent knowledge of Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries within productivity and quality standards.
• Assist claimants through the VA disability appeal process and request information.
• Conduct heavy data entry and document talk notes in the case system.
• Explain decisions and provide claimant insight into the VA process.
• Maintain confidentiality of claimant information and records.
• Mentor peers and support staff; participate in training.
• Update the training manual and assist with special projects.
