Job summary

UtilityAPI is seeking a Technical Program Manager with utility-facing experience to join our team. You will own relationships with a portfolio of utility accounts, guide technical integrations from kickoff to launch, and ensure a trusted, long-term partnership.

You’ll work with Engineering, Product, and Sales, translate APIs and data flows for non-technical audiences, and build repeatable playbooks and training to accelerate future deployments across the US energy sector.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software technical program management, client management, or customer success.
• Experience in energy/utilities sector projects.
• Experience coordinating multiple teams with agile and waterfall approaches.
• Ability to translate APIs and data flows for non-technical audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own relationships for a portfolio of utility accounts from onboarding to renewal.
• Oversee technical integration projects, track milestones, and escalate risks.
• Coordinate across Engineering, Product, and Sales to align integrations and launches.
• Create playbooks, onboarding guides, and testing procedures to speed future deployments.
