Job summary

Elchemy, a tech-enabled cross-border specialty chemicals distributor, seeks a Business Development professional to drive Market Expansion and Revenue Growth in the US market. You will identify untapped customer segments, penetrate new accounts, and coordinate with the India team to ensure timely order execution.

The role requires 1–4 years of BD/Sales experience in the US market, with remote collaboration across global teams and strong client-facing communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of proven experience in business development and sales in the US market.
• Post graduation in Business Management, or an equivalent related field is preferred.
• Open to cold calls, customer visits and working remotely but in collaboration with the Global team
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation and client-facing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Market Expansion & Revenue Growth: Driving business growth for Personal Care chemical segments in the US and increasing Elchemy's market share by identifying untapped customer segments.
• Customer Relationship Management & Key Account Development: Strengthen relationships with existing clients and expand the Key Account portfolio through proactive service delivery.
• Align plans with Elchemy's team in India for executing orders, coordinating with the global team to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Deliver insights through reports and dashboards on sales performance, customer insights, and market trends to inform leadership decisions.
