Job summary

Globaltize is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to support U.S.-based clients in a remote setting. You will handle end-to-end monthly bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial statement analysis, while communicating with clients to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, and strong QuickBooks Online and Excel skills. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred for client interactions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably with U.S.-based clients.
• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; proficient with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly bookkeeping end-to-end for multiple U.S.-based clients using QuickBooks Online.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts; maintain GL, A/P, A/R, and payroll records.
• Prepare, review and analyze monthly financial statements for accuracy and insights.
• Communicate with clients to clarify transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with new client onboarding, including QuickBooks Online setup and data migration.
• Maintain task tracking, process documentation and file management across shared tools.
• Collaborate daily with the team using Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
• Suggest process improvements to boost workflow efficiency and reporting accuracy.
