Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Sr. Applications Engineer to lead the design and engineering of ultrapure water systems within industrial water treatment.

This role is remote and supports North America, collaborating with Sales and Process Engineering to craft innovative water treatment solutions for mission-critical applications. You will own the complete proposal lifecycle—from lead qualification through system design, costing, and contract handover—working with global teams across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical/mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Proven expertise in ultra-pure water treatment technologies.
• Strong foundation in mass transfer, fluid dynamics, and inorganic chemistry.
• Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design & Engineering of UPW systems and related processes.
• Lead proposal development and coordinate across engineering teams.
• Develop and deliver client-focused proposal packages and presentations.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical and other disciplines to support project design.
