Veolia seeks a Sr. Applications Engineer for North America who can work remotely.

You will be the primary technical contact, leading the full proposal lifecycle from lead qualification to design, costing, and handover, while coordinating with Sales and Process Engineering across global teams. You will design ultrapure water systems using mass transfer and fluid dynamics, select equipment including RO, UF, UV destruction, EDI, and ion exchange, and ensure timely delivery with vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical/mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Proven expertise in ultra pure water treatment technologies.
• Strong foundation in mass transfer, fluid dynamics, and inorganicchemistry
• Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Own the complete proposal lifecycle—from lead qualification through system design, costing and contract handover.
• Design custom ultrapure water (UPW) systems leveraging mass transfer and fluid dynamics.
• Develop process flow diagrams, mass balances, equipment selections, and system layouts with Process Engineering.
• Coordinate resources and manage vendor and subcontractor relationships during the proposal cycle.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and other disciplines to build comprehensive packages.
