Veolia in North America seeks a Senior Application Engineer for its MicroElectronics Applications Engineering Team. You will be the primary technical contact for clients, designing UPW treatment solutions and leading the complete bid lifecycle from qualification through handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical/mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Proven expertise in ultra pure water treatment technologies.
• Demonstrated success in bid/proposal development with strong technical and commercial analysis skills.
• Track record in customer-facing technical sales or engineering roles.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.
• French language skills may be useful (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead bid strategy development in partnership with Sales, qualifying opportunities and organizing resources to meet submission deadlines.
• Translate customer requirements into Veolia solutions, optimizing competitive positioning and value delivery.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering to design flowsheet processes that solve complex water treatment challenges.
• Develop technical documentation, including P&IDs and proposal materials that clearly communicate solution advantages.
• Manage cost estimation by partnering with Sourcing teams to obtain quotes and finalize competitive pricing.
• Drive proposal development by leading meetings, reviews, and cross-functional coordination.
• Establish project timelines and prioritize deliverables while maintaining quality and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with internal bid development procedures, tracking, and forecasting protocols.
