Job summary

SCI Summit Consulting, LLC seeks an experienced underwriter to evaluate and underwrite new and renewal business, analyze risk data, and collaborate with actuaries, agents, and clients to gather essential information.

Required: minimum 5 years in underwriting, a Bachelor's degree, and professional designations preferred. Position may be based in Gainesville, GA or remote from select Southeast states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Risk Management and Insurance or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of underwriting experience or related field.
• Professional designations such as AU, CPCU, CIC, INS, or ARM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and underwrites new and renewal business per guidelines and risk appetite.
• Analyzes risk data to inform coverage, pricing and terms.
• Collaborates with actuaries, agents, brokers, and clients to obtain information.
