SCI Summit Consulting, LLC is hiring an experienced underwriting professional to evaluate and underwrite new and renewal business, develop risk assessment models, and collaborate with actuaries, agents, brokers, and clients. The role requires navigating regulatory guidelines and reporting on market trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, risk management and insurance or related field.
• 13+ years of underwriting or related experience.
• AU, CPCU, CIC, INS or ARM designation preferred.
• Occasional travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and underwriting of new and renewal business per guidelines.
• Develop advanced risk assessment models for coverage, pricing, terms.
• Foster partnerships with actuaries, agents, brokers, and clients.
• Procure and analyze motor vehicle and loss history reports and external inspections.
• Ensure documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Evaluate complex renewals and identify policy enhancements.
• Communicate underwriting strategies to internal teams, agents, and brokers.
• Travel as needed for role.
