Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies, part of the Tokio Marine Group, seeks an Underwriting Audit Supervisor to lead the underwriting audit program and deliver actionable insights on performance, risk, and compliance. You will coordinate with Compliance, Underwriting, Training, Legal, and Executives to drive consistency and accountability.

The role combines audit leadership, data-driven reporting, and process improvement across underwriting operations, with a focus on regulatory alignment and staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
• Minimum 7-10 years of commercial underwriting, underwriting compliance, quality assurance, auditing, or related insurance experience.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
• Experience conducting underwriting file reviews and compliance assessments; able to present results to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Company's underwriting audit program and develop annual audit plans and methodologies.
• Evaluate underwriting files for compliance with guidelines, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards.
• Analyze audit results to identify trends, create executive dashboards, and report to leadership.
• Track remediation and corrective actions, and drive process improvements across underwriting.
• Mentor audit staff, develop training materials, and promote knowledge sharing.
• Establish department goals and conduct performance reviews for staff.
