Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies, part of the Tokio Marine Group, seeks an Underwriting Audit Supervisor to oversee the underwriting audit program and drive compliance and quality across the underwriting function.

The role partners with Compliance, Underwriting, Training, Legal, and Executive Leadership to deliver actionable insights and continuous improvement. A hybrid work model and remote consideration are available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 7-10 years of commercial underwriting, underwriting compliance, quality assurance, auditing, or related insurance experience.
• 3+ years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
• Experience conducting underwriting file reviews and compliance assessments.
• Experience presenting results to senior leadership and managing corrective action initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the underwriting audit program and guide annual audit plans and methodologies.
• Ensure audits follow standards and procedures; manage workload distribution and quality control.
• Evaluate files for compliance with guidelines, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards.
• Analyze audit results to identify trends and prepare executive reports and dashboards.
• Partner with management to develop corrective action plans and track remediation.
• Identify training needs and mentor audit staff; promote knowledge sharing and best practices.
