Job summary

Philadelphia Insurance Companies, a member of the Tokio Marine Group, is expanding our Compliance team with nationwide consideration for an Underwriting Audit Supervisor. The role oversees the underwriting audit program, ensures adherence to guidelines and regulatory requirements, and serves as a key liaison across Compliance, Underwriting, Training, Legal, and Executive Leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
• Minimum 7-10 years of commercial underwriting, underwriting compliance, quality assurance, auditing, or related insurance experience.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
• Experience conducting underwriting file reviews and compliance assessments.
• Experience presenting results to senior leadership and managing corrective action initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the underwriting audit program and staff.
• Develop annual audit plans, priorities, and methodologies.
• Ensure audits are performed per standards and procedures.
• Monitor productivity, audit completion rates, and reporting timelines.
• Evaluate files for compliance with guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Identify risks through audit findings and maintain consistency in scoring and reporting.
• Develop executive-level reports, dashboards, and metrics.
• Lead corrective action plans and track remediation progress.
• Mentor and develop audit staff and promote best practices.
