Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a technically minded Technical Sales Engineer to support customers across the UK, providing technical guidance on component selection and design-in activities. You will work with internal teams and customers to develop long-term relationships and identify new business opportunities.

The role requires strong knowledge of electronic/electromechanical components and the ability to communicate with engineering, procurement and commercial stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within technical sales, applications engineering, field sales engineering or product specialist roles within the electronic components industry.
• Strong technical understanding of electronic and/or electromechanical components and their applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineering, procurement and commercial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and commercial support to customers across the UK.
• Act as a technical resource for internal and external sales teams.
• Support customer design activity and design-in opportunities.
• Attend customer meetings, site visits, exhibitions and supplier visits.
• Provide application-level guidance and support component selection activities.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across existing and prospective accounts.
