Job summary

Sleek in South Africa offers a remote accounting leadership role managing a UK SME client portfolio. You’ll oversee year-end accounts, tax, VAT and statements, coaching a distributed team to maintain accuracy and deadlines.

We require ACCA/ICAEW/ICAS, 5+ years in UK practice, and strong knowledge of UK accounts (FRS 102/105) with Xero or similar cloud software. You will report to UK leadership; remote eligibility is supported.

Qualifications

• Must have ACCA/ICAEW/ICAS (CA) qualification.
• At least 5 years in UK accounting practice with portfolio management.
• Expert knowledge of UK statutory accounts (FRS 102/105) for private companies.

Responsibilities

• Run year-end accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT returns and confirmation statements for your portfolio.
• Review and sign off your team’s work and coach them for accuracy.
• Prepare management accounts and explain them to clients in plain terms.
• Chase deadlines early when delays occur and communicate consequences to clients.
• Maintain client records and workflow data for transparency.
