Job summary

Sleek seeks an experienced accountant to prepare UK year end accounts, CT600s and VAT returns for small business clients. You’ll work in a UK-based pod of five, reviewing peers’ work and supporting the manager to ensure accuracy from day one.

Based in India or the Philippines with UK-hours overlap, you’ll use AI-enabled workflows and cloud accounting tools to deliver precise filings and client service at scale.

Qualifications

• CA or CA Intermediate (India), CPA (Philippines) or ACCA member.
• At least 4 years in accounting, incl. 2 UK year end accounts, CT600s and VAT returns for small businesses in UK practice or outsourcing.
• At least 1 year reviewing peers' work.
• Confident with Xero, QuickBooks or similar cloud accounting.
• Written English strong enough to email UK clients.
• Based in India or the Philippines with right to work there.
• Able to work a shift that overlaps UK business hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year end accounts (FRS 102/105), CT600s and VAT returns under MTD.
• Review pod colleagues' work and explain corrections.
• Chase clients for missing records and flag deadlines early.
• Email UK clients to request information or explain needs.
• Keep client records and workflow data accurate.
• Leverage AI tools built into our products and workflows.
