Job summary

ABB seeks a Senior Leader, U.S. Trade Compliance Program to support the Country Trade Compliance Officer in managing and governing ABB's U.S. Trade Compliance Program.

You will provide strategic oversight of policies, controls, and regulatory requirements across the organization, partnering with business stakeholders to ensure compliance with import, export, sanctions, and customs regulations. The role is remote within the United States and requires strong leadership, risk assessment, and

Qualifications

• Master's degree in supply chain and/or trade management preferred with 10+ years of U.S. trade compliance program experience.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain and/or trade management preferred with 12+ years of U.S. trade compliance experience.
• Customs Broker license strongly preferred.
• Certified Import/Export Specialist preferred but not required.
• Proven track record handling U.S. trade regulations (CBP, BIS, EAR, OFAC, ITAR).
• Strong relationship-building across global and country-level teams; able to work remotely within a Country team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Country Trade Compliance Officer in developing and executing the U.S. Trade Compliance Program strategy.
• Lead program initiatives ensuring compliance with U.S. import/export, sanctions, and trade regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement of trade compliance processes.
• Advise Local Trade Compliance Officers on risks and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with annual trade reviews, risk assessments, and mitigation actions.
