Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Senior Leader for the U.S. Trade Compliance Program to support the CTCO in managing and governing ABB's U.S. trade compliance.

The role leads strategic oversight of compliance risks, policies, and processes, partnering with business stakeholders to ensure adherence to U.S. import/export, sanctions and customs rules. The position is remote, contributing to the U.S. Country Trade Compliance group.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in supply chain and/or trade management with extensive experience in U.S. trade compliance.
• Experience leading U.S. trade compliance programs and cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs, BIS, EAR, OFAC, ITAR regulations.
• Proven track record of implementing regulatory controls and governance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across global teams.
• Experience with risk reviews and due diligence for trade transactions.
• Must have work authorization to work for ABB in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Support the CTCO in developing and executing the U.S. Trade Compliance Program strategy.
• Lead program initiatives ensuring compliance with U.S. import/export regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement of trade compliance processes.
• Advise LTCOs on regulatory requirements and risk management.
• Support annual Trade Review Program and remediation efforts.
• Coordinate with LTCOs on governance, records, and audits.
• Engage with government agencies and manage regulatory interactions.
