Halo Recruiting is seeking a Payroll Manager for a U.S. multi-state payroll function, fully remote from Latin America. The role processes weekly and biweekly payroll for hundreds of hourly employees and requires strong timekeeping review and compliance with U.S.

payroll taxes. You will serve as the primary payroll processor, coordinate with HR and finance, use iSolved, and ensure timely payroll corrections and accurate pay statements.

Qualifications

• Four years+ hands-on U.S. payroll processing experience required.
• Ownership of full-cycle payroll responsibility, not just data entry.
• Experience handling multi-state payroll for hundreds of employees.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and biweekly U.S. payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Review timecards for missing punches, variances, and discrepancies.
• Coordinate with managers to resolve timekeeping issues before deadlines.
• Process new hires, terminations, changes, bonuses, reimbursements, deductions, and tax-withholding updates.
• Prepare payroll reports, reconcile totals, and investigate discrepancies.
• Respond to employee/payroll questions and maintain audit trails.
