The role focuses on designing educational materials, webinars, and trainings for local health departments and healthcare providers, with travel as needed within Michigan. This exempt, remote-position emphasizes collaboration with state and federal partners.

Formación

• Master's degree in nursing, public health, or a health field.
• Experience in clinical specialization, teaching, supervision, administration, or consultation.
• Experience working with tuberculosis or other infectious diseases preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates questions related to diagnosis and treatment of active and latent tuberculosis with clinical consultants or TB experts.
• Designs and coordinates educational materials and professional development opportunities for local health departments and healthcare providers.
• Coordinates with local, state, and federal partners to disseminate best practices and TB-related updates.
• Provide support to local health departments in identification and testing of people exposed to TB.
• Support cross-jurisdictional communication among health departments, states, and federal partners for follow-up and documentation.
• Build broader awareness and understanding of TB among providers treating at-risk populations.
