Job summary

Cherokee Nation Integrated Health (CNIH) is seeking a Public Health Analyst I to support the CureTB program by coordinating transnational TB referrals and providing case management. The role involves education, outreach, and liaison with domestic and international partners to promote continuity of care.

The incumbent will manage TB referral data, conduct multilingual interviews, and participate in an interdisciplinary team to ensure timely completion of referrals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health or related field required.
• Strong oral and written communication; fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills to manage multiple requests and deadlines.
• Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders.
• Adaptable to changing program priorities and requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience in program evaluation, reporting, data management, or data analysis preferred.
• Attention to detail in maintaining accurate records.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.

Responsibilities

• Support the CureTB Program by providing referral case management and programmatic support for transnational TB referrals.
• Communicate effectively with TB patients in English, Spanish and other languages; conduct telephone interviews.
• Serve as a member of an interdisciplinary team coordinating and managing transnational TB referrals; linkage to care and follow-up.
• Coordinate with U.S. and international public health jurisdictions and partners; document requirements and resolve issues.
• Collect, enter, validate, and maintain patient referral information in the CureTB database.
• Manage and prioritize multiple program requests, assignments, and deadlines.
• Support program evaluation by documenting findings, identifying trends, and developing recommendations.
• Prepare for meetings and stakeholder engagements with briefing materials and talking points.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders across programs.
• Demonstrate flexibility to evolving priorities and operational needs.
• Support other branch activities, including Binational Border Infectious Disease Surveillance and Port Health Stations.
