Qualifications

Registered Nurse license in Ohio (RN) required.
Biennial renewal of RN license to practice.
Equivalent substitution for experience allowed, but not for licensure.
24 months infection control experience in population/community setting with data analysis and outbreak investigation.
4 months training or experience in public speaking/teaching.
3 months training or experience in computer operation.
Experience in TB prevention and control, grant writing, and working with local health departments preferred.

Responsibilities

Act as statewide expert on TB prevention and control field activities.
Consult with local TB programs, health departments, providers, facilities, and public on TB prevention and control.
Provide specialized technical assistance and education on TB prevention and control.
Participate in epidemiologic investigation of TB outbreaks and perform site visits as assigned.
Evaluate statewide TB prevention and control efforts through case review and data analysis.
Write assigned portions of grant applications and progress reports for TB prevention and control.
