Job summary

Onyx Point, Inc. seeks a System Engineer to support testing and validation of our web-based mission application, ensuring functionality, usability, and performance. You will partner with Development and DevOps, execute tests across Linux environments, and manage defects and documentation.

The role requires an active TS/SCI with full scope poly clearance and 10+ years of experience (or 14+ years without a degree). Travel 1–2 times/year may be required, with flexible remote work options.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience with a technical discipline degree or 14+ years without the degree.
Experience performing manual testing and validating system performance.

Responsibilities

Perform manual testing of system and application testing to validate functionality and performance.
Collaborate with DevOps and Development to define testing needs and create compliant test plans.
Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Document test results, defects, and reporting through defect-tracking systems.
Install, upgrade, and validate system and application configurations for testing.
Develop and maintain test documentation and procedures.
Provide user training on application functionality and monitoring.
