Onyx Point, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Systems Administrator with an active TS/SCI clearance and full scope polygraph. Candidates must have 10 years of SA experience on programs of similar scope, plus a technical bachelor’s degree or five years additional SA substitution.

U.S. citizenship is required. The role focuses on implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT systems, with emphasis on Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, UNIX/Windows administration, and capacity planning.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience as a System Administrator on programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; five years additional SA experience may substitute for a degree.
• Active TS/SCI with full scope polygraph; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manage daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Assist users in accessing and using IT systems.
• Support day-to-day operations and monitor client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 escalation management and resolution.
• Escalate and communicate status to management and internal customers.
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform capacity analysis and planning.
• Provide dispatch support for hardware problems and issue resolution.
• Analytical feedback on escalated tickets to management and internal customers.
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows OS installations; ensure system reliability and performance.
• Contribute to improving IT systems through detailed analysis.
