Job summary

Onyx Point, Inc. is seeking a DevOps engineer with test and dataflow development experience to support high-assurance systems in the United States. An active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph is required, as is U.S.

citizenship. The role emphasizes rigorous systems engineering, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration across architecture, software, and hardware teams. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field and have substantial SE experience.

Qualifications

• Requires active TS/SCI with full-scope polygraph security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• DevOps developers with test and dataflow development experience are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline is required; five years of additional SE experience may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop system engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
• Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure production systems align with defined architectures (SOA, etc.).
• Coordinate resolution of actions from CCB meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews requiring cross-discipline coordination.
• Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design capabilities based on development and operational needs.
• Develop requirements and allocate them to hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
• Provide technical direction for development, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems.
