Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Federal Storage Solutions Architect to drive storage adoption across U.S. Federal Government customers. This senior, customer-facing role requires deep enterprise storage expertise, federal market knowledge, and the ability to win complex opportunities.

Remote/teleworker arrangement with 50%+ travel. US citizenship and TS/SCI with FSP poly clearance are required. Strong collaboration with civilian, defense, and SI partners is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Federal Clearance TS/SCI with FSP poly.
• US citizenship required due to federal work.
• Travel up to 50%+.
• 6+ years with or supporting the Federal Intelligence Community.
• Experience selling and architecting enterprise storage into Federal accounts.
• Experience with civilian/defense federal environments.
• Knowledge of Federal acquisition processes and contract vehicles.
• Experience with Federal Systems Integrators and prime contractors.
• Strong knowledge of HPE Storage technologies.
• Understanding of virtualization, private/hybrid cloud, data protection, and cyber resilience.
• Experience with major competitors (Dell, Pure, NetApp, IBM, etc.).
• Ability to lead complex technical pursuits from discovery to closure.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead storage technical advisor and solutions architect for Federal accounts.
• Understand customer mission priorities, environments, security requirements, and modernization.
• Architect and position HPE solutions across block/file/object storage and data protection.
• Lead engagements from discovery through sizing, PoC, proposals, and closure.
• Engage early in Federal buying cycles to influence requirements.
• Develop relationships with customer architects, engineers, and executives.
• Collaborate with Federal Systems Integrators and partners on joint solutions.
• Translate mission needs into differentiated storage architectures.
• Differentiate HPE against major competitors and manage pursuit strategies.
• Support RFI/RFP/RFQ and validation activities; coordinate resources.
