Job summary

Medcor is seeking a Telephonic Registered Nurse for our remote 24/7 Occupational Health triage call center. This full-time RN role focuses on evening/night shifts (8 or 10 hours, 3pm–4am CST variants) with a start date mid-June 2026.

You’ll manage high-volume calls, document each interaction, and follow proprietary triage algorithms while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Training lasts 5–6 weeks, after which you transition to a permanent remote schedule.

Qualifications

• RN license and active BLS certification required.
• Ability to handle a high volume of consecutive calls.
• Typing speed of at least 30 WPM with good computer skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; HIPAA compliance essential.
• Able to work evenings/nights and every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Manage a rapid flow of incoming telephone calls from Medcor customers in a call center environment.
• Document each call efficiently and accurately.
• Monitor and track individual as well as call center goals, productivity metrics, and statistics.
• Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s clients and employees.
• Complete accurate assessment of symptoms and/or concerns utilizing Medcor’s Triage Algorithms.
• Follow HIPAA Compliance Policies.
