Job summary

NTT DATA America seeks a Transportation Consulting Manager to join our team remotely in the US. You will lead transportation sourcing, network optimization, and technology initiatives, delivering measurable value for clients.

You will manage projects, interface with clients, develop executive materials, and mentor junior staff. Travel 20-40% is required. This role supports our Supply Chain Consulting practice and client success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering, OR, Operations Research, SCM, Business, Science, Mathematics.
• 3+ years leading and delivering transportation sourcing projects or TMS implementations.
• 3+ years applying optimization and simulation to transportation and supply chain problems.
• 1+ years leading or managing junior staff.
• 3+ years using Tableau or Power BI for data visualization.
• 5+ years using Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and client presentations.
• 5+ years applying quantitative methods to transportation decision-making.
• Willingness to travel 20-40% based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Play a hands-on role in managing and delivering transportation consulting solutions.
• Deliver projects according to plans, methodology, and client expectations.
• Serve as the primary client contact throughout project execution.
• Interface with clients to acquire data and operational insights.
• Develop executive-level presentation materials and client deliverables.
• Coach, mentor, and develop junior consultants and analysts.
• Build strong client relationships through effective communication and leadership.
• Travel 20%-40% based on project requirements.
