Reserv is seeking a highly organized Transportation Physical Damage Claims Adjuster to join our team. You will speak with customers by phone, educate them through the claim process, and manage an inventory of claims while triaging priority cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3-5 years in commercial transportation claims
• Active adjuster license required; DHS license acceptable
• Willing to obtain all licenses within 60 days and complete state testing
• Knowledge of state regulations, policy provisions, and procedures
• Commercial claims experience essential
• Ability to analyze and evaluate claims data per guidelines and procedures
• Curiosity and problem-solving mindset; learn continuously

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, high-quality customer service to policyholders and claimants
• Gather information from customers to initiate claims and explain policy coverage
• Manage inventory of claims and establish initial reserves
• Coordinate vehicle repairs and assist with rental reimbursement
• Recognize subrogation and salvage opportunities; manage total loss handling
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and SOPs
• Negotiate settlements within approved authority with claimants and attorneys
• Contribute to updates of claims guidelines and processes
• Oversee outside investigative services and coordinate with clients and counsel
• Engage in ongoing learning about personal lines, court decisions, policy changes
