Job summary

Reserv is an insurtech creating AI-driven claims solutions. We are seeking highly organized Transportation Physical Damage Claims Adjusters to join our remote-first team, handling customer inquiries, educating claimants, and triaging a portfolio of claims to drive prompt, fair resolutions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, active adjuster license, 5 years’ experience in commercial transportation claims, and the ability to navigate state regulations, negotiate settlements, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent qualifications.
• Active adjuster license: resident-state license where available, otherwise Designated Home State (DHS) license; willingness to obtain additional licenses within 60 days.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience on commercial transportation claims, ideally interstate tractor trailer, dealing with Third-Party PD/Total Loss.
• Willing to obtain all licenses within 45 days, including state required testing.
• Knowledge of state regulations, policy provisions, and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, high-quality customer service to all policyholders and claimants by responding to inquiries, initiating investigations and resolving claims.
• Gather necessary information from customers to initiate the claim and explain policy coverage and appropriate course of action.
• Manage an inventory of claims, establish initial reserves, and adjust as needed throughout the claim.
• Coordinate repairs and assist with rental reimbursement.
• Recognize recovery opportunities in subrogation and salvage and total loss.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, policy provisions, and standard procedures.
• Negotiate settlements within approved authority and communicate with involved parties.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements of claims guidelines, best practices, and processes.
• Oversee outside investigative services and collaborate with client and counsel to resolve claims.
• Engage in learning opportunities to expand knowledge of personal lines claims and policy changes.
