Job summary

ICF is seeking a Transmission Line Engineering Manager to lead and grow our new transmission line engineering practice, working remotely across the United States. You will oversee a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality engineering solutions to utility clients with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.E. in Electrical, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Power Engineering; PE licensure.
• 12+ years with electric utility, EPC, or engineering consulting.
• 10+ years of transmission line engineering (design, analysis, modeling).
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and managing projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of transmission line engineers and designers; set performance expectations and career development.
• Manage staffing, recruiting, workload forecasting, and resource allocation for projects.
• Oversee project delivery to meet safety, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Provide technical leadership and promote engineering best practices and innovation.
• Establish QA/QC processes and workflows to drive excellence across the department.
