Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer II for a fully remote role. The engineer will lead design projects for transmission lines, develop construction documents, and coordinate with internal and client teams to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with standards.

The position requires a BS in ABET-accredited CE/EE and a Master’s degree may count toward experience. Travel to sites is occasional, and mentorship of junior staff is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering (ABET) required.
• Master’s degree (ABET) will count toward years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead transmission line design projects and coordinate with clients.
• Prepare construction documents, material specs, and project schedules.
• Model designs using PLS-CADD and evaluate design alternatives.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
• Travel to project sites as needed for inspections and coordination.
