Job summary

Operation Homefront is seeking a Manager, Transitional Housing – Apartments to oversee the TH-A program remotely. You will lead case management oversight, ensure compliance, and coordinate resources to support veterans and their families in stable housing.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s (master’s preferred) in social work or related field, 3–5 years nonprofit or military community experience, and knowledge of housing programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field required or preferred, Master’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience in non-profit organization or working with military community.
• Knowledge of housing programs and military pay systems preferred.
• Property management experience.
• Microsoft Office 365 proficiency.
• Valid Driver’s License and MVR (annual) and criminal background checks required.
• 100/300/100 personal auto coverage or equivalent as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Monitors client progress through regular check-ins, virtual renewal meetings, and virtual unit inspections.
• Coordinates financial counseling services and transition resources to support long-term stability.
• Educates clients on program and property rules and expectations to ensure a safe living environment.
• Participates in community outreach, builds partnerships, and documents activities and outcomes.
• Reviews applications for eligibility, conducts intakes, and completes background checks; maintains confidential records.
• Coordinates with other teams for grant proposals and reporting; ensures documentation is accurate and compliant.
