Empire State University in Saratoga Springs, NY seeks a Degree and Transfer Specialist to evaluate transfer credit and maintain degree audits in the Office of the Registrar.

You will collaborate with faculty to create course equivalencies, apply credits to records, and support Degree Works while researching transfer policies. This role supports a dispersed work environment with flexible options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy.
• Clear and effective communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate transferability of prior learning from regionally accredited colleges, military experience, and other pre-evaluated professional learning.
• Create course equivalencies with input from faculty and maintain articulation tables.
• Apply transfer credit to student records and maintain undergraduate degree audits using Degree Works.
• Assist in providing guidance on policy and procedures for transfer credit and degree audits.
• Support technology for transfer and degree audit processes, including transitions to new systems.
• Collaborate on special projects as assigned.
