Job summary

ECPI University is seeking an Academic Transfer Specialist to evaluate transfer credits and manage related records. You will verify accreditation, degrees earned, and course information while handling transcripts with discretion to ensure FERPA compliance.

The role requires an associate degree (baccalaureate preferred) and strong organizational and communication skills. Experience in higher education and knowledge of TES/ CampusNexus are a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; Baccalaureate degree preferred.
• Experience in higher education or records management is preferred.
• Equivalent combination of related work and educational experience may be considered.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Knowledge of FERPA and privacy regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes TES evaluation system and other resources to complete transfer credit evaluations.
• Assists with official transfer credit evaluations, as needed.
• Screens transcripts to update the student’s record for additional schools attended.
• Accurately verifies accreditation, degrees earned and course/grade information for transfer credit.
• Processes received transcripts and documents confidentially to ensure FERPA compliance.
• Works independently and with a team on projects such as training, software testing, and meetings.
